Automotive Manufacturing
UMTRI researchers perform detailed analyses of existing manufacturing processes and how their variation sources contribute to part and process quality. We also work with companies to help them implement new technologies within automotive manufacturing plants. Our primary focus is on sheet metal stamping, body assembly, waveform analysis, and metrology.
