Our 6th annual Inside China Automotive Conference features insights by manufacturers, suppliers, consultants, and UM experts on the current and future prospects for the automotive industry in China. Our speakers will tackle domestic manufacturer strategies from the foreign and domestic perspective, labor issues, market updates, and a UM-China consortium on multi-modal transportation implementation. These speakers will provide insights into the current and future direction of the industry based on their academic research, consulting experience, and work within the industry.
Some of the key questions we will address include: How are Chinese domestic manufacturers faring compared to their joint venture counterparts? What is the future business trajectory for domestic
manufacturers? What labor issues do automotive manufacturers and suppliers face today? How difficult is it for Chinese suppliers to break into the US market? What are the current consumer trends in vehicle purchasing, and what are some of the potential future buying patterns? How is China managing its complex transportation issues in the context of sustainability? What transportation models will be implemented to manage this difficult situation?
